Add a New Page to Your Website

Create and publish a new page in WordPress using Gutenberg.

Procedure

Log in

1. Go to yoursite.com/wp-admin
2. Enter credentials
3. Click Log In

Create page

1. Go to Pages > Add New
2. Enter title

Add content

1. Type in the editor area
2. Use toolbar for headings, bold, lists
3. Click + to add blocks (paragraph, image, etc.)

Add image

1. Click + and search "Image"
2. Upload or select from library
3. Add alt text (important for SEO)

Set featured image

1. Click Set featured image in sidebar
2. Select image

Add to menu

1. Go to Appearance > Menus
2. Add the new page
3. Save menu

Publish

1. Click Preview to check
2. Click Publish when ready

Key Points

• Save drafts frequently
• Use alt text on all images
• Preview before publishing
